Mile marker: same as yesterday

Lunch: J – pineapple curry (A+), A – drunken noodles (A+)

Dinner: J&A – popcorn, cheesecake, salad (A+s)

The vibe on trail has relaxed a lot. Since everyone is out of the Sierras and safe from snowstorms, we don’t feel pressured or rushed. Pretty much everyone we know who got off trail at Tehachapi near us also took a zero.

We took a slow morning to leisurely run some errands. We had to mail off a lot boxes. Some went downtrail, some uptrail, some to the other coast!

We got lunch at a Thai restaurant. It was immaculate. Would recommend Taste of Saigon in Tehachapi if you’re ever accidentally in Tehachapi.

For dinner, we got groceries and ate in our hotel room while watching the critically acclaimed movie Cocaine Bear. 

Overall, it was a very relaxing day.
